Shincolon2109
Product Description
Shincolon‑I type continuous silicon carbide fibers are prepared using an electron‑beam‑assisted air crosslinking technique. Owing to the carbon‑rich precursor and the substantial incorporation of oxygen during the crosslinking process, this fiber type contains approximately 15 wt% oxygen and a carbon-to-silicon ratio of about 1.35. It can be used continuously at temperatures below 1200°C in an oxygen‑free atmosphere and below 1050°C in an oxygen‑containing environment.
