Shincolon2108
Product Description
Shincolon‑I type continuous silicon carbide fiber is a silicon carbide fiber prepared using an electron‑beam‑assisted air crosslinking technique. Due to the carbon‑rich precursor and the substantial incorporation of oxygen during the crosslinking process, this fiber contains approximately 15 wt% oxygen and has a carbon-to-silicon ratio of about 1.35. It can be used continuously at temperatures below 1200°C in an oxygen‑free environment and below 1050°C in an oxygen‑containing environment.
