Product Description

Shincolon‑II continuous silicon carbide fiber is a silicon carbide fiber prepared using an electron-beam‑assisted active‑atmosphere crosslinking technique. Owing to the carbon‑rich precursor and oxygen‑free crosslinking conditions, this fiber exhibits an oxygen content of less than 1 wt% and a carbon-to-silicon ratio of at least 1.3. It can be used continuously at temperatures below 1400°C in an oxygen‑free environment and below 1250°C in an oxygen‑containing environment.
