Product Description
Shincolon‑III continuous silicon carbide fibers are prepared using electron-beam‑assisted crosslinking in an active atmosphere combined with high‑temperature decarbonization heat treatment. This fiber type has an oxygen content of less than 0.8 wt% and a carbon-to-silicon ratio of approximately 1.05. It can be used continuously at temperatures below 1600°C in an oxygen‑free environment and below 1350°C in an oxygen‑containing environment.
